American investor Paul Mampilly


Prominent American investor Paul Mampilly was born in India. He moved to the United States at the age of 18. While he was growing up in India, he was attracted to something he noted from his father. The government of India was in huge debt and was struggling to repay. It decided to take loans from its citizens to later repay them at 18 returns every year for the next 30 years. His father was one of the people who gave a loan to the government. For the next 30 years, he was earning handsomely from the investment he made through the loan to the government.
